Motors in Mekside can be placed either between parts of dynamically moving objects or anchored into the static terrain. In the latter case, it is easy to use them to add some life and movement to the otherwise quite static terrain geometry. Simply adding a rotating motor with a set velocity can improve the world’s realism a lot, in the case of the image above by turning the wings of a windmill (which, in this case, also seems to feature a water-driven backup..).
Other simple ideas that can be fun to build into the terrain are drawbridges, large castle doors, trapdoors, wind-power generators and a lot of other cool stuff we’d love to see you build.
